The gated communities of Mediterraneo I, II and III are located close to the Carabasi Strip where you will find bars, restaurants and services. Just a kilomtre further down the road you will arrive at the beach and access to the park El Clot is within a short distance ideal for those who enjoy walking or jogging.

There are a mixture of 2 and 3 bedroom houses, as well as 2 bedroom ground floor and first floor apartments. The apartments have balconies with either a garden or solarium. The houses have private gardens and a balcony. The communal facilities include two large swimming pools, with a children's pool, a garden and terrace, a children's playground, a tennis court and private parking spaces.

Gran Alacant is a sub-district of the coastal resort and traditional fishing town of Santa Pola, located 22km south of Alicante city. It is made up of a group of urbanizations on the Cape of Santa Pola and borders the Clot de Galvany nature reserve, the beaches of Los Arenales del Sol and Carabasi to the north and the Mediterranean pine forrests to the south of the cape. The airport of Alicante-Elche is just 8.5km away making it very convenient for international travellers. The cities of Alicante and Elche are around 20 minutes drive way and offer extensive shopping, restaurants, musuems and services.

Gran Alacant is home to over 8,000 residents and has several commercial areas which offer a variety of different restuarants, bars, banks, and shops. There is also a school, medical centre, library, two pharmacies, several supermarkets and a petrol station. The regular public transport in the form of buses communte between Santa Pola and Alicante while the municipal buses can take you around Gran Alacant itself.

"We had a lovely week here for a family holiday. The apartment is as described and had everything needed for our stay. Lovely pool areas which we made good use of and short 15 / 20 minute walk to the beach. The apartment is in a nice quiet area. We had a great stay!"

"The residence is very safe and clean. The pools are supervised and open from 8:30 am to 10pm. Very few people, at 11am no one in the pool we were alone. The accommodation is very clean and the bedding is very comfortable. We had a pleasant stay."

"Nice apartment with a large roof terrace. Good A/C in all the Rooms. 2 very clean and tidy swimming pools with slide and diving board. Lifeguard available. Within walking distance of various restaurants, and about a 15-minute walk from the beach. There is also a large new Aldi and Lidl at a short distance. We had a nice stay."

"Great place. The location was lovely and quiet and the pool was fabulous. Its in a gated community so very well looked after and safe. There was a/c in sitting room and bedrooms which was needed as it was extremely hot in August. There are restaurants and bars a 5 min walk away. There is also a little train that leaves from the shops every hour and has 12 stops. The bigger shopping area at gran alicant shopping centre has a kids play area and great restaurants upstairs in the evening it comes alive. We hired a car as we wanted to go to water parks with the kids. If you want to just stay around the apartment a taxi is only around 50€ return from alicante airport. (15 mins)"
